Even the smartest drivers can get into trouble sometimes. Luckily, we’re always along for the ride, offering free 12 months membership to our roadside assistance. That’s transport and accommodation, if necessary, anywhere in Australia. So you can get out there and explore without any worries.
Every new ŠKODA vehicle includes one-year complimentary roadside assistance membership, from the warranty start date.
To thank you for your loyalty, complimentary Service Initiated Roadside Assistance (SIRA for short) will be activated if the vehicle is returned to an authorised ŠKODA Dealer for scheduled maintenance, as per the ŠKODA Service Schedule milestones.
To be eligible for SIRA your vehicle must be in a roadworthy condition and have the ŠKODA standard scheduled service carried out by an authorised ŠKODA Dealer.
Following the service schedule ensures your vehicle receives the love and care it deserves. As such, vehicles presented to an authorised ŠKODA Dealer will be eligible for a SIRA Policy up to 42 days after, or 2,500 kilometres above the service schedule milestone. If previous services were missed or completed outside our network, you will also be eligible when you return to an authorised ŠKODA Dealer for a standard scheduled service.
Vehicles that are more than 9 years old from the original new car warranty start date, are not eligible for SIRA. If the SIRA policy will expire on or after 10 years from the original new car warranty start date, and no further SIRA policy will not be activated. No more than 9 SIRA Policies can be applied to a vehicle in its lifetime.

Your location, with nearest cross street if possible
A description of the problem or emergency
Your vehicle registration number
Of course, we aren’t the only ones who will be worrying about you after a breakdown or an accident. In that event, we’ll relay urgent messages to friends, family or business associates that may be affected or concerned by the delay. It’s a simple gesture, but an important one.
ŠKODA Roadside Assist membership is provided by AWP Australia Pty Ltd ABN 52 097 227 177 trading as ‘Allianz Global Assistance’ (‘Allianz Global Assistance’). Whenever you request roadside vehicle assistance under your membership, you will be making that request to Allianz Global Assistance, who will provide the services on the terms and conditions set out below.
